The Lucky Devils - News from Earth 2019

Over the course of the last 20 years The Lucky Devils have been one of the better and  most consistence  psychobilly bands out there. For many they are a band that is known for their daring and kool covers. But make no mistake, this is one original and refreshing outfit that brings it on.The band's latest and 7th album " News from Earth" bares that out. This time out we get 8 originals and 3 covers of a killer  mix of old school psychobilly ,neo-rockabilly and rocknroll .Hell they even throw in a little surf .As usual they change up the gears and keep it lively and as a result this is damn refreshing and a whack of fun.Highlights include: "Zombie Kids" , "Bongos Sounds", "We're All Gonna Die", the cover of  "Greensleeves" and "Banzai"

From start to finish " News from Earth" is flat out killer. This rocks big and nails it .It's also The Lucky Devils  best album yet and one of the years best too boot. You can bank on that!

No Hit Makers - For Evermore 2019

For a bunch of cats that have been around for over 10 years the No Hit Makers  have a pretty limited  but impressive rap sheet. With a self-titled 4 track ep, released in 2010 and 1 track on the  " Rockers Kulture - The French Rockabilly Scene #1, also in 2010.Their  next release was ,1 track off the 2014 "Four On Fur" compilation. They are a band that for many has slipped through the cracks. That's a shame because this is one stout outfit that knows how to dish out some sweet neo rockabilly. With the recent release of their debut album "For Evermore" they have resurfaced in a big way. This rockin' slab of neo rockabilly/ rock n roll aims to please and succeeds.Punching the clock with 10 originals and 1 cover. Two of the tracks(both standouts); "You Can Cry" and "Blind and Deaf "were previously released.Overall this is a brisk and killer ride that will have you up and moving.Hell it's also damn refreshing and will have you hitting the repeat button.Highlights include: "Since My Baby...", "With My Old Black Cadillac", " You Were Too Young To Die" and "Bitter Taste".

The No Hit Makers are a band you should definitely check out. They nail it with "For Evermore".It's one of the years best and easily cuts the mustard.Highly recommended !!!

Psycho Farm Aka - Something Psychotic 2017

Emerging out of  the industrial wastelands of Ruhrpott (in late 2013) comes Psycho Farm Aka (PFK) an interesting and stout  rockin' psychobilly outfit. These cats play old school psychobilly and aren't afraid to mix things up.Their debut album "Something Psychotic is proof of that.Instead of rushing out their debut affair,  they took the time and delivered a killer disc with a refreshing flare. We get 13 tracks of kool old school psychobilly that border on neo- rockabilly at times.Add into the mix a little whack of the blues and the results will cure your ills.Sure we get some of the horror angle here but no two tracks sound alike and that makes for a better album.Highlights include: "Psychofarmaka",The Sin", "Warpath", Cut Across Shorty" and "U.F.O."

Overall "Something Psychotic" is one impressive debut album that packs a punch and is a blast of rockin' fun.But beware this puppy will grow on you .Highly recommended.

The Test Pilots - Parachute Party 2016

In early 2015 The Test Pilots came screaming out of Sweden with one hell of an ep entitled "Deadly Rhythms". These kats totally caught  pretty much all of the psychobilly/rockabilly crowd off-guard .The band then preceded to gain major international airplay and praise.Their brand of psychobilly/neo-rockabilly is strikingly fresh, exciting and full of potential. Now with the release of their debut album " Parachute Party" The Test Pilots are smacking down their hand and it's one that's hard to beat. We get 10 tracks here (9 new) that you can't help but dig. This is modern psychobilly with  old school flare and a stiff shot of neo rockabilly. At times it sounds familiar but it always sounds original and fresh,it's not your typical psychobilly. Highlights include: " The Blob", "Jumble Stomp", "Deadly Rhythms", Thin Blue Line" and "Flipped Out,Twisted n' Trashed".
You just know these guys don't hold to the usual constraints of psychobilly and that's a good thing.  The Test Pilots are one seriously talented outfit and "Parachute Party" bears that out. This is a killer album from start to finish and one you should snap up. Highly recommended!!   https://www.facebook.com/thetestpilots/timeline
