The Ripkatz - From The Outside 2019

You gotta give it to The Ripkatz (formerly The Galactic Polecats), somehow they have managed to create a kool signature sound despite the fact that they are all over the map, genre wise. From straight up modern rockabilly to punk, outlaw country to Americana and straight up rock n roll. One thing for sure is that they are a damn good band and are not afraid to really mix it up . The band's sophomore album  "From The Outside" bears that out. Clocking in with 13 tracks that are diverse, refreshing and flat out  impressive.Hell this puppy roars in  with some surfbilly action and then proceeds to run the genre gamut. As a result this is a sweet  ride that keeps you on toes and guarantees some hip shakin' action. There isn't a week track to be found.Highlights include: "Whiskey Queen", "Taste Like Chicken", "Underneath", and "Sugar Shake"

The Ripkatz have throwin' down a tour de force with "From The Outside".This is one rock n roll album that takes off in different directions and is still  freakin' sweet. That's hard to beat,so you should  throw some hard earned  money down on this one.Highly recommended!!

The Boners - Hell Yeah 2014

Since 2009 The Boners have been laying down some pretty kool, greasy, bluesy rockabilly. It's no stretch to say this a modern rockabilly band that loves the blues. The band deservedly managed to grab some major  attention in early 2014 when out of the blue Wild Records signed them.Well then things got very interesting:an album was signed sealed and then not delivered to Wild Records. The band then jumped ship to Rhythm Bomb and the wait began and now in 2015  that album is finally out and it definitely  has been worth the wait.Talk about been loaded, "Hell Yeah" crashes in with force,we get 12 original revved up tracks of modern rockabilly that deliver in spades. From straight up rockers to rockabilly blues to even some shades of country, this puppy nails it  and will have you up and at it as they say. There is even some killer harp action too boot.Highlights include: "Muchacha!", "The Train Song", "Lockdown" and "Baby Shaker"

Hell Yeah  is a damn strong that  reels you in then leaves you wanting more and you gotta like that! Recommended!!       https://www.facebook.com/themboners/timeline
