The Creepshow - Death At My Door 2017

 It's been 4 years since The Creepshow released their last album,"Life After Death".
A very stout effort that was also a watershed moment for the band.Since then these cats have been constantly touring  and fans have been wondering when the next album will come.Well the wait is over as the band has just dropped their latest and 5th album,"Death At My Door".This puppy comes running in with 10 tracks of basically what you expect and a little bit more. From their signature sound to an all out rocker with horns to a slow haunting ballad it delivers .The Creepshow have never been afraid to stray a little from psychobilly  and do it successfully again here .Hell this is easily their best album yet and probably their most diverse when push comes to shove.Highlights include: "Death At My Door", "A.O.T.B.H.", "Sticks and Stones" and the kool "New Kings"

The Lucitones - The Lucitones 2017

The Lucitones hail from the not so hotbed of psychobilly Flathead Valley,Montana.However for the last couple of years they have laided  down  a pile driver mix of psychobilly,rocknroll and punkabilly that has managed to net them a solid and growing  following.As a result they ran a successful  kickstarter campaign and signed a record deal with HairBall8 Records.Now the band's self titled debut has dropped and this puppy hits hard and delivers the goods.Coming in with 13 stout tracks that sit at the corner of psychobilly and punkabilly with a whack of rocknroll hanging around.It's all good and has a kool refreshing vibe. Highlights include: " Dark As Day", "Scurvy",  the instrumental "Bad Luck", "TV Guide For Life" and "Stalker In The Sky"

    The Lucitones are a damn strong outfit that aren't your typical psychobilly/punkabilly band and this  self titled debut album proves that.You gotta check these cats out. Highly recommended.

Emma and The Ragmen - In the Know

You may not have heard of Scotland's  Emma and The Ragmen , but believe me this is one outfit you gotta check out.They have only been around for a couple of years and in that time they have developed into a top shelf outfit. Their 2016  single "Ragtop Roll"/In The Know  is pretty impressive and despite been a limited release from Rampage Records  it managed to turn a few of heads and received  some international airplay.However  they still remain one of the best kept secrets in the rockabilly world. Hopefully that's about to change with the release of their debut album "In The Know". Clocking in with 12 tracks (6 originals) this  puppy struts in with a whack of confidence that's backed up big.From straight up rockabilly to a slow burner to  kool rockers this baby packs a punch.We even get a whack of stout driving sax that ups the game here.Highlights include"All Alone", "In The Know","Put My Right Foot Down","Ragtop Roll" and the stout hard driving  "Backwards Bop"

Mad Man Horse - Hits You Hard 2017

They say you can't judge a book by it's cover. Same goes for album covers, case in point the new debut album from Man Man Horse .Yeah the cover is pretty funny 70's cheese that will mislead many that aren't familiar  with the band  but the title " Hits You Hard" is bang on.If you are familiar with them you know that this is one rockin' psycho outfit [with one stout ep on their rap sheet] .You also will know that they are constantly compared to Demented Are .But back to  "Hits You Hard" ,this puppy crashes in with 13 tracks of ass kickin' psychobilly. This is loud,proud,kinetic and a whack of fun.Highlights include "Retarded Rock N Roll", "Rattlebone Rock", "Bad Blood Man" and "Dig Em'Up Rock"

 
 Bottom line on "Hits You Hard" is that this is a killer album that delivers a knock out punch. If your looking for a band that rocks out these cats are for you .Highly Recommended

The B- Shakers - Let's Go Boogie 2017

Swiss rockabilly cats The B-Shakers are upping their game.With 2 solid albums under their belts,both loaded with covers ,the band has now stepped up with their third and impressive album " Let's Go Boogie "This time out we get 12 originals and 1 cover that finds the band hitting their stride and delivering the goods.From straight up rockabilly to rockabilly blues and surf, this baby packs a punch.Hell there is even some killer harp action thrown into the mix.Highlights include: " Jimmy's Got A Hot Rod", " Surf All Day", "Let Me Free", "Stairway To Hell" and "Jaenny Is In Love With Me".

  The B-Shakers have always been a pretty solid outfit.The fact that they are now throwing down originals only makes them better.This is a band that really has found their groove and it's a kool one at that. " Let's Go Boogie" is easily their best and one album you probably should snap up.  Highly recommended !
