Marcos Sendarrubias - High Voltage Rockabilly 2014


 Marcos Sendarrubias  is a force in Spanish rock n roll, hell many consider him a legendary figure in the Spanish music scene .From rock n roll to doo -wop to rockabilly and more, this kat has done it and does  it well. Since 1995 he's  been in  The Nitemares, The Moon River Trio and he's still going strong  with  the doo -wop group Del Prince.If that wasn't enough he as also been involved  in some way with a  list of artist as long as your arm (it actually is impressive). Now comes,surprisingly  his first solo album "  HIGH VOLTAGE ROCKABILLY " and this puppy kicks some butt .Punching in with 14 tracks that range from wild rockabilly ,to a little country to some raw rock n roll and it's all good.Of the 14 tracks, 12 have appeared  on Sendarrubias's previous  three 45's released by Carmela Records and 2 are brand new.Highlights include: "On The Dancefloor", " This Is A Robbery", " Daddy's Little Girl", " Marie".
    Sendarrubias is backed up here  with a  who's who of Spanish rockabilly/rock n roll  (Charlie Hightone,  Tony "Ponyboy" Talavera , Carlos Lopez  Salomon Molina , Mario Cobo just to name a few). Even with all the  talent here ,what  really makes "High Voltage Rockabilly"  better than good is that it's chalked full of killer tunes.
