The Hoodoo Tones made quite the splash back in 2016 with their pretty stout debut album "Confessions Of A Loner". Not only was it a critical success, but rumor had it that Rhythm Bomb couldn't keep it in stock. It's easy to see why; these cats play damn catchy and refreshing rockabilly / rock n roll. The band's latest offering and sophomore effort "Here To Stay" is one sweet and rockin' slab that nails it.Clocking in with 11 originals and 1 cover of wild modern rockabilly with a damn healthy and equal shot of straight up rock n roll. This time out they raise the bar and rev it up.Hell for the most part this is one urgent and refreshing ride .They throw one slow burner and a country track just to mix it up and keep you on your toes.Highlights include: " Here To Stay" , " The Hunter", " Ernie The Virgin", "Do It For The Road" and "Suicide Boogie"
The Hoodoo Tones score a direct hit here with " Here To Stay". They have stepped up their game and are serving notice. So pay attention. Highly recommended!
