Back in 2015 The Minestompers released their self titled album.Its's a fast, loose and action pack affair that put these Cologne cats on the map and rightfully so. Playing a brand of psychobilly that's infused with sleazy punk, surf to trash,rockabilly and straight up rock n roll.Now they are back with their sophomore release "Porno Mags & Body Bags" and this is one fun and trashy dark ride.Punching in with 12 originals and 1 cover of mayhem that kicks you in the butt and it's all good.This time they stay the course, throw in a little harp action and ratchet up their game.It's a vigorous effort that doesn't take itself too seriously and has a kool vibe through out. Highlights include: "Shellack Smile", "Bone Breaking Beat", "Unleashed", " Vinyl Wonderland" and a kool cover of "Cop Killer".
Overall " Porno Mags & Body Bags" is a pretty stout outing and one you should take a chance on.It's a blast of fresh air that's a whack of fun.
